Go! Go! Curry!’s Established Franchise System
Hello friends,
In the last couple of issues, I talked about curry culture and trends in Japan and explained how deeply Japanese curry rice is embedded in Japanese people’s everyday life. Now I’d like to switch gears to Go! Go! Curry!’s franchise business and give you an overview of how the system works. If you are interested in a food franchise or the curry restaurant business, this may be something you’d like to know.
Suppose you’re ready to collaborate on a franchise business with us. The first step you would take is to go to our website and fill out a form at https://gogocurryfranchise.com/ , and enter your basic information. We would review it, and then our sales team would contact you to set up an interview to get to know each other. Since it’s a business matchup, we would get to know both sides really well, from financial status to corporate culture. Our company information can always be found in our FDD (Federal Disclosure Documentation), and you can take a look at it in advance and bring up detailed questions during the first meeting.
Once both of us agree on everything and sign a contract, there are tons of practical tasks sprawled in front of you: Finding a location, designing and constructing the facilities, setting up equipment, obtaining permits, and on and on. But you don’t need to worry about that. We support you every step of the way. Our director of training helps you set a schedule right up until your opening, gives you a list of tasks to complete, and keeps you on the right track until you achieve your goal.
As the opening date draws closer, our marketing team helps you to promote your Go! Go! Curry!, from writing a press release, to crafting your opening campaigns. One month prior to your soft opening, you have the chance to learn actual operations at our New York stores as a part of training. During the first week of your soft opening, our training staff will go to your new store to help and supervise operations.
Even after the grand opening, we have an established support system. We visit your Go! Go! Curry! location one month from your opening, and every three months or so afterwards. We’ll give you advice and help with troubleshooting whenever you need. Your success is our success!
We have a couple of franchises set to open very soon, and I’ll share the franchisee’s comments when they’re ready. But for next time, I’ll talk about the spirit of “omotenashi” (or customer service in Japan) that lies behind our franchise business philosophy. Until then, stay cool and genki.
